Are you passionate about supporting families that are working hard to leave homelessness? Do you have experience working with young children? Do you want to help break the cycle of poverty? If so, please consider volunteering with us!
We are in search of one volunteer to assist staff in our on-site nursery on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-8:15 pm. To be clear, this opportunity would be every Tuesday at the same time. (This excludes holidays, office closures, and occasional time off requested by the volunteer).
This is a wonderful opportunity to serve homeless parents with children, work in a team context with other staff and volunteers, and partner with a mission driven non-profit with sustainable client outcomes. We are looking for applicants that are energetic, kind, capable, timely, exhibit a high level of personal responsibility, and have strong personal administrative skills. Applicants must complete a short application, and background checks.
If interested, please email Brianna at blarson-jackson@homestretchva.org directly for more information and next steps!
