The Greenway Native Plant Nursery is home to nearly 15,000 native trees and shrubs. The trees and shrubs at the nursery are potted by volunteers and will grow for 1-2 years before being planted in parks and forests along I-90. These trees and shrubs are an important part of keeping our natural areas healthy and potting these plants in our nursery is the first step in restoring the areas.

Help make this human and natural heritage visible and accessible to all people.
Description
The Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust, founded in 1991, is a non-profit partnership of citizens, private landowners, businesses, public agencies, environmental organizations, and local governments working to protect and enhance the scenic I-90. The Trust supports efforts to preserve open space, farms, working forests, and historic sites, and to create new trails, recreation and tourism opportunities along the 100-mile Mountains to Sound Greenway. Trust volunteers work year-round on a variety of outdoor projects to improve the environmental health of and recreational access to the Greenway.
