We are seeking volunteers at Bethesda Hospital (St. Paul) who are interested in learning and then providing oshibori (warm towel), essential oil and hand massage services to our patient, their families, and our staff.
Duties:
- Provide oshibori, essential oil, hand massage to patients, staff and families appropriately
- Complete appropriate documentation
- Communicate and connect with nursing staff
- Minimum age requirement: 16
- 100 hours minimum service commitment
- Self-starter, flexible, able to follow directions and work independently
- Excellent communication skills; demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to interact with a diverse population
- Comfortable interacting professionally with patient’s and visitors
