ASPIRE is a State of Oregon program to help youth access education/training beyond high school. The program matches trained adult mentors with high school students to develop a plan to help them meet their future career/education goals. Typical time commitments are 1-4 hours a month.

Description

Ranking fifth in Oregon in student enrollment, NC12 serves more than 40 square miles and is located 12 miles from downtown Portland. Included are the incorporated cities of Milwaukie, Happy Valley, and Johnson City, parts of Damascus, and the neighborhoods of Oak Grove, Concord, Clackamas, Sunnyside, Mount Scott, Southgate, and Carver.

The Sabin-Schellenberg Technology Center campuses combine to produce the most unique program of its kind in the state. They serve more than 4,000 high school students from across the District. They receive professional-technical training in 15 subject areas.

More than 600 local businesses contribute to the education of North Clackamas students.

Graduating seniors receive more than $3 million in scholarships each year.

The average high school student takes two more classes each year than a decade ago. More than 90% of graduates exceed state graduation requirements.
