Help us completed our annual end of year campaign to support women veterans and their children! We will be folding and stuffing envelopes to be mailed to help us raise support of our Childcare Assistance program that provides women veterans with grants to send their children to licensed childcare facilities and camps.
We will be providing coffee and pastries during the volunteer time and will thank you with a special gift at the end of the day. You are welcome to bring children with you and parking on the premises is free and secure.

Mission Statement
We exist to serve women veterans and their children so that their next mission is clear and continues to impact the world.
Description
Foundation for Women Warriors is a unique support organization created exclusively for the women veteran community of Southern California. We provide essential programs to empower the resiliency and professional development of Women Warriors. Every step is dedicated to supporting these outstanding women to navigate obstacles and realize their maximum potential after their service career.
We have four core programs: Warrior Assistance provides our women warriors with grants to cover rent and emergency expenses such as medical and utility bills; Childcare Assistance provides grants to women veterans to cover essential childcare expenses; Warrior Connect puts our veterans in contact with like-minded organizations that can assist with affordable housing options, employment, transition assistance, and legal assistance; and Connect with Community, a networking and career workshop for women veterans and transitioning active duty women aimed to improve the resiliency and self-sufficiency of our warriors.Formerly known as Military Women In Need, our organization was created in 1921 as Housing Subsidies Program for widows and mothers of fallen service members. Today we continue to serve women veterans and their children as Foundation for Women Warriors. In our last fiscal year, we served over 1,100 individuals through our programs. Join us to help make a difference in the lives of those who have served and sacrificed for our country!
