The resale shop "A Second Thought" specializes in women's, men's, and children's clothes, as well as household items. The shop is in need of a volunteer to help with posting items on eBay. This volunteer will help write descriptions, take photos, and post the items on the shop's site. The shop is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am - 7 pm, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 am - 5 pm and Saturdays from 10am - 3pm.
Each year employees of Heritage Christian Services travel to Chimaltenango, Guatemala, to repair and distribute wheelchairs to those in need. Proceeds from "A Second Thought" help fund this mission. This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity and requires a regular schedule. Training will be done on site. Come and join in on this wonderful volunteer opportunity.

Heritage Christian Services offers residential support, service coordination, respite, community habilitation and employment supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities . We are a proud recipient of the Compass designation by the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities for being one of New York State’s top service providers to people with special needs. HCS also has National Accreditation from the Council on Quality and Leadership.
