Welcome to HCC

History Colorado is currently seeking at least four volunteers to help with data cleanup and perform data maintenance. This will have a huge impact on our future and current members and donors as we communicate with them with the correct information. Tasks will include:

  • Sifting through constituent records making sure required fields are up to standard
  • Creating new records for existing relationships
  • Assisting with locating and cataloging duplications within the database
  • Insuring that members are correctly linked to membership records and spouses are properly linked
  • Checking for spelling errors, proper casing, and Postal abbreviations are correct

Requirements:

  • Higher level of computer skills are preferred - database skills are preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and extremely organized
  • Task oriented
  • Able to work unsupervised and a self starter

Goal: The objective is to help cleanup the database to ensure when we make the conversion to a new CRM/POS system, we are going in with clean data. The second goal is to make sure everything in the current system successfully transfers over to the new CRM/POS system. Currently there are some fields that might not transfer over.

Schedule: Between 2 to 4 hours any day Monday through Friday.
