I have founded Healing Smiles with the purpose of bringing what we call "smile therapy" to children struggling with a life threatening condition or emotional trauma. And need a volunteer to help planning a Marathon called Clown Walk.
The purpose of the Clown Walk is to bring children and adults together to Walk to raise funds to continue to serve our children. Each individual participating will have to wear at least one item of clown costume to the walk. There will be a stage for entertainment, and there will be sponsor booths.
This is my first time planning something like this, so I really need help making this happen!

Healing Smiles Foundation Inc’s mission is to provide therapy through entertainment and arts to children struggling with life threatening conditions or any trauma. There have been studies and testimonies that link healing properties to smiling, laughter and maintaining a positive state of being. Healing Smiles' goal is to make "smile therapy" available to as many children's possible across the U.S. in hospitals, shelters and orphanages to name a few.

Story
Healing Smiles Foundation Inc was founded by Sussan Amaro. She has been a face painter and a balloon artist for 10 years, and an artist for many more. She has painted and made balloons for many children who have terminal illnesses, and has seen the incredible, priceless smiles when they see their face in the mirror or get that awesome twisted balloon. "At that moment the child forgets that they are ill... That moment for them is amazing, and everyone around watching their expression of awe. Then the question came; how can I bring this type of entertainment to all children struggling or suffering in any way? I felt it was important to make this type of, what I call 'smile therapy’ available to all suffering children. What if we raised funds to make the best entertainers available to all these children? This is when Healing Smiles Foundation became a reality (Sussan Amaro)."
Healing Smiles would like to bring smiles to these children through the following programs:
- Dream birthday party program
- Hospital Visits
- Healing Smiles Festival
- Spa Day for Parent and Child
