Code Ladder is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to help us find the people we need to succeed! This person will be responsible for recruiting volunteers, maintain all volunteer forms/documents/waivers, match interested volunteers with opportunities that suit their skill set and serves the organization. The Volunteer Coordinator must make an effort to ensure that individual volunteers feel engaged, comfortable with their placements, and fully understand their responsibilities. The coordinator will organize and hold various volunteer events to encourage fun and team-building.

Our ideal candidate will have:
-Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks
-Ability to interact confidently and professionally with a variety of personalities
-Experience managing and prioritizing multiple tasks
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-Excellent communication and networking skills

Key responsibilities include:
-Recruit, interview, and place applicants for volunteer work
-Meet with each volunteer in-person at least once
-Schedule and coordinate volunteer training and assignments
-Keep volunteers engaged and excited
-Ensure required volunteer forms/documents/waivers are collected, properly filled out and stored
-Maintain database with volunteer information and interests
-Create and distribute various communications and publications intended to keep volunteers informed and engaged
-Provide ongoing support and guidance for volunteers
-Maintain a direct line of communication with the Executive Director as to the status of the volunteer pool
