Relay For Life is the signature fundraising event of the American Cancer Society. At Relay, family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, etc. come together to celebrate survivors, remember those we have lost, and fight back as a community against our biggest rival -- cancer.
As a team captain you are the leader of a Relay For Life team -
- manage team members and relationships (educate members on the ACS mission and how to fundraise through regular team meetings and communication)
- coordinate creative fundraisers to help your team raise money
- attend team captains meetings and report back to your team with updates
- recognize your team members for their commitment to the fight against cancer
