Salt Lake Valley Threshold Choir is committed to providing comfort through song at the bedside of terminally ill patients. We are members of the International Threshold Choir non profit organization based out of California. We rehearse weekly at a members home and sing at the bedside of hospice patients, when requested. Auditions are not required but experience singing with choirs is preferred. Volunteers should be able to memorize simple songs and hold a part with 2 other voices in harmony. Volunteers must commit to weekly rehearsals from 2 pm to 3:30 on Fridays. Anyone is welcome to participate in rehearsals but to sing at the bedside, volunteers must be able to pass the required hospice online training, background check, drug and TB test at no cost to the volunteer. Rehearsals are usually at one location which will be shared upon completion of an application. Bedside sings can be anywhere within the Salt Lake Valley and are scheduled in advance.

Description
The Bristol Hospice ~ Utah, LLC has been serving patients and their families who are at the end of life in Utah since 2010. Bristol Hospice provides hospice services to meet the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of individuals at the end of life. We focus on an individualized plan of care which may include, as appropriate, the following services: nursing, physicians, hospice aides, spiritual support, therapy, dietary, counseling, volunteers, durable medical equipment, supplies, bereavement services and medications related to the terminal illness.
The Bristol Hospice Utah program promotes quality and comprehensive hospice care for our patients, families, and communities. Bristol Hospice Utah is licensed in accordance with state and federal hospice regulations. In addition, Bristol Hospice Utah is CHAP Accredited.
