Oversee external communication activities and ensure effective communication with prospective coalition members, sponsors and other external stakeholders.
As a External Collaborations Assistant, have a creative mind and excellent communication skills. The position’s goal is to effectively collaborate with the organization’s Secretary to help external stakeholders have customized experiences with HTS2S.
Responsibilities
- Develop recruitment campaigns
- Collaborate with Public Relations Assistant and Internal Collaborations Assistant as well as maintain open communication with the Executive Board members
- Help Public Relations Assistant update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts etc.)
- Serve as the point of contact for prospective coalition members
- Help Fundraising Coordinator seek opportunities for sponsorships and in-kind donations.

Description
Henrico Too Smart 2 Start Coalition is a 501 (c) 3 Non-profit organization that will significantly help Henrico County, VA become a healthier community by significantly reducing youth substance you. HTS2S will achieve this by ensuring all community stakeholders, especially youth, are involved in developing initiatives that will lead in changing the views, behaviors and laws toward youth substance youth. Some of the initiatives will involve, but not be limited to community conversations, social media campaigns and interactive events that will educate and inspire the community.
