San Francisco History Days Volunteer:

Love San Francisco and its history? The California Historical Society and is seeking volunteers to help out with of one of San Francisco’s best cultural events of the year at the Old U.S. Mint. San Francisco History Days celebrates and shares the history of the San Francisco Bay Area with dozens of exhibits and presentations from community historians, archivists, genealogists, archaeologists, authors, researchers, educators.

We are currently seeking volunteers for History Days Education Day on Friday, March 1 as well as for San Francisco History Days Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3 to fulfill a variety of roles, including:

  • Tech and A/V support
  • Greeters and Way-finders
  • Author Room assistant
  • Check-in Support
  • Exhibitor support
  • Event Set-up
  • Event Take-down

San Francisco History Days runs from 11:00am to 5:00pm Saturday, March 2 and 11:00am to 4:00pm Sunday, March 3. Shifts are flexible, ranging from 3 hour to full day shifts for all three days.
