Mission Statement

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro-Wayne is committed to partnering with our community to give qualified applicants a chance to buy their own home and build a better future.

Description

Our ministry was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a place to live in dignity and safety.

We do not give our houses away. Rather, families partner with our agency to build homes at an affordable cost and pay a standard mortgage. That's the Habitat way- no handouts, no freebies, just a fighting chance to be successful.

Habitat has an open-door policy: All who desire to be a part of this work are welcome, regardless of religious preference or background. We have a policy of building with people in need regardless of race or religion. We welcome volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds.
