Ever wondered what it's like to see a TV show in the making? Now's your chance! High School Quiz Show is coming back for Season 10! Sign up to volunteer during tapings of the ultimate battle of brainpower for Massachusetts high school students! Plus, you may even be able to sit and enjoy a LIVE show while you’re here. Volunteers are needed for roles such as: ushers, brain challenge activity table and photo station supervisors, floaters, and audience registration assistants.

High School Quiz Show Position Descriptions:

Brain Challenge Table Manager (Atrium): Distribute puzzle and brain teaser worksheets to guests as they arrive before tapings.

Floater (Atrium): Greet and welcome guests, answer questions from the audience regarding taping schedule and where to find things (e.g. restroom and water fountain), and fill in for other volunteer positions as needed.

Green Room Assistant (Green Room): Greet teams and escort them around the building as needed leading up to the taping (e.g. to the makeup area, to get miked, etc.). There will be down time so be sure to bring reading material.

Photo Station Supervisor (Atrium): Oversee photo station area and offer to take pictures of guests posing with Quiz Show host cutout and props.

Poster Making Station Supervisor (Atrium): Supervise and assist guests with poster-making activity.

Prize Manager: Distribute giveaways to guests who provide the correct answer to trivia questions.

Quiz Show Online Game/HSQS Table Manager: Invite guests to play High School Quiz Show online game and monitor computer use; invite guests to submit their ideas for the next season of High School Quiz Show, including possible questions and celebrity guests. Guests will also have the chance to complete a High School Quiz Show Bracket.

Registration (Lobby): Greet audience members as they arrive to 'GBH, check them off a printed list and provide a brief rundown of the day.

Usher (Atrium/Studio Doors): Answer questions from the audience regarding when studio doors open, restroom locations, policies, what people aren’t allowed to bring in the studio (e.g. food, paper), etc.
