We are looking for volunteers to help us with our upcoming fundraiser hike - the Northwest Cancer Climb - Oyster Dome. This fundraiser will support the development of a cancer center in Southeast Nepal where currently more than 20 million people do not have access to cancer care.
The next Northwest Cancer Climb - Oyster Dome will take place on March 30th. We are looking for volunteers to support us in the following areas:
1.) Participant recruitment - we need volunteers to help us spread the word and register participants for this hike.
2.) On-site support (base) - Hikers registration, handing out T-shirts, water bottles, snack bars etc.
3.) On site support (top) - Cheering hikers who reach the top, taking pictures
4.) Crowd management - Making sure people find their way to the hike starting point, helping people if they need information
5.) Transportation - Shuttling people from different parking spots to the hike base.
6.) Pledges & donations solicitation - Helping raise funds for the cancer center by encouraging people to create pledge pages and donate to the cause.
