The Binaytara Foundation is looking for volunteers to help at our upcoming medical conferences in Salt Lake City, Utah - October 2-3, 2021. You will get to meet with some of the top experts in oncology.

We are looking for a total of 4 volunteers to help with various tasks. Ideal for nursing, medical, or other healthcare students but you don't have to be one. No prior experience is needed. You must enjoy working with people. As a volunteer, you will help set up the conference room, prepare conference materials, help with registration and check-in of attendees, take pictures/videos, post on social media, and provide support as needed.

Time commitment: We need volunteers during the following hours. However, you may not need to be there all of these times if you are unavailable at all the listed times.

  • Friday October 1 from 3 PM to 6 PM - Orientation/introduction & conference materials preparation, set up banners, posters etc. (light snack provided)
  • Saturday October 2 from 6:30 AM to 5 PM - Registration, attendee check-in, photography, provide other support as needed. Breakfast and lunch provided. Coffee/tea as needed.
  • Sunday, October 3 from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM - same as previous day. Breakfast provided. Coffee/tea as needed.

Mission Statement

The Binaytara Foundation seeks to improve healthcare in resource poor communities and improve cancer care worldwide by collaborating with national and international organizations to: develop healthcare manpower in underserved areas improve access to cancer care by establishing direct care facilities and services promote the practice of evidence based medicine by providing research grants to young physicians and healthcare providers in training improve knowledge and competence of healthcare professionals by offering them continuing educational materials though live and virtual meetings, webinars, and other educational forums.


Do you have interest in medicine and education? Are you able to devote a few hours a month and would enjoy working with an elite group of medical professionals from around the world?

Volunteers and members of the Binaytara Foundation (BTF) are individuals who share their passion and energy for helping others across the world. Via the Internet, from the comfort of their homes, volunteers work on projects to promote health and education initiatives through a variety of activities. Volunteers work directly with the executive team to ensure that their experience is meaningful and they develop skills in their area of interest, including writing, marketing, event planning, and more.

The Binaytara Foundation strives to bring positive changes in people’s life by promoting health and education. Working with a multitude of partners, including the University of Illinois Medical Center, BTF has been recognized in many ways by the international community, including the UN Committee on Non-Governmental Organization recommending the Binaytara Foundation for Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council. Special consultative status with United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) is granted to NGOs which have special competence in, and are concerned specifically with, only a few of the fields of activity covered by the ECOSOC.
