Join King Conservation District on January 19 for a waterway and trail clean-up along the Longfellow Creek Legacy Trail in West Seattle. Meeting location will be confirmed after registration.

Gloves, tools, water, snacks, and hot beverages will be provided. Please bring water bottle, travel mug, lunch, boots and rain gear!

This is a family-friendly event and all experiences are welcome!

King Conservation District strives to:

  • Teach principles of conservation to landowners and the general public
  • Assist citizens and governments with the implementation of sound conservation practices
  • Coordinate productive relationships between citizens and environmental regulatory agencies
  • Encourage the development of comprehensive action plans and procedures that promote environmental quality

District programs and services include but not limited too:

  • Stream, wetland, and estuarine enhancement
  • Backyard wildlife habitat enhancement and naturescaping
  • Youth and Volunteer events
  • Implementation of natural resource management projects
  • Bareroot plant sale and native plant nursery
