Join the volunteer team at Community Threads and help process items in our housewares and home goods departments! We are so grateful for our awesome donors who provide our non-profit resale store with great housewares items such as cookware, decor pieces, antiques, and tons of unique items!

We are looking for volunteers on Tuesdays (after 2pm), Wednesdays (before 5pm), Fridays (before 5pm), and Saturdays (before 3pm). Our volunteers can create their own schedule and serve as frequently as they would like.

Tasks in this department can include: sorting, cleaning, pricing and displaying items.
Community Threads raises funds to bring women and children out of homelessness. We have produced over 1.56 million dollars in grants so far and we look forward to continuing to serve the local community.

Mission Statement

Community Threads is a nonprofit ministry that makes grants and runs programs supporting education and the relief of poverty.

Community Threads brings together a network of local ministries to help the homeless and underserved in our community through the operation of a nonprofit thrift store. The store provides a way for these ministries, our donors and shoppers to make a difference in these tough times. Through your donations of quality goods, Community Threads is able to provide the best stuff at the lowest possible price to shoppers on a budget and then return all the profits back to our communities for much needed services.

All profits from the store go directly to provide quality education to needy students, shelter for the abused and homeless, addiction recovery programs and other critical services right here where we live. We welcome new volunteers into the store. Sign up for our e-newsletter for special coupons and store news.
