About North Central Area Agency on Aging

Mission Statement

To enhance the quality of life for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers in the North Central CT region by ensuring access to quality cost effective services.

Description

  • We keep people in their homes as long as possible and out of nursing homes. We all have a preference about how we would like to spend our later years. NCAAA helps support that.
  • We advocate for the rights of older adults and the issues they face through outreach and education. We know there are a lot of people out there who do not know where to turn.
  • We have been doing this for over 40 years and provided services to thousands of older adults in North Central CT.
  • We are part of a national eldercare consortium. There are over 600 Area Agencies on Aging across the Unites States.
