HER Initiative serves as a conduit of resources and health information for black women and girls to equip them to lead empowered, healthy and whole lives. We provide comprehensive health education and foster intergenerational healing through workshops and digital storytelling. We are a young non-profit that seeks to grow our audience to further or reach and programs.

Tasks:

• Ensure uniform and engaging content and tone of voice for graphics, and other elements
• Monitoring and replying to posts from visitors
• Create a social calendar for post frequency to include relevant HIV Awareness days and health awareness months (e,g, National Black HIV AIDS Awareness Day, Women and Girls Day, Transgender Testing Day...)
• Use scheduling tools to plan forward-looking post over weekends and holidays
• Use environmental scanning to post timely and relatable content (trending topics, pop culture, media)
• Re-purpose content from other sources for social media channels- Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn (and understand how to change the tone of the content for each channel)
• Track key social media analytics monthly, including Google Analytics, use of designated hashtags
• Pitch programming to consumers
