All of Sumner Ave Elementary is receiving Junior Achievement programs in a day! All programs include fun activities and volunteers are trained on the activities ahead of time. You have your choice of volunteering in:

  1. 2nd grade JA Our Community - Students "run" their own bakery and learn how money moves in a community.
  2. 3rd grade JA Our City - Students learn about different careers and how businesses contribute to a city.
  3. 4th grade JA Our Region - Students learn about natural, human, and capital resources found in different regions and explore regional businesses that produce goods and services for consumers.
  4. 5th grade JA Our Nation - Provides practical information about businesses’ need for individuals who can meet the demands of the job market, including high-growth, high-demand jobs.
