Volunteer with The Nature Connection and help deliver therapeutic nature programs to elders in your community.
The Nature Connection is seeking volunteers to join our team in delivering therapeutic nature-based programing to the elders at Cambridge Health Alliance, elder service plan. Monthly programs feature fresh plants, live animals, natural materials, and seasonal themes/content. Nature Connection programs puts nature into the hands of people in our communities that cannot go outside for a walk to clear their mind, enjoy the autumn colors, or listen to the birds.
Volunteer with The Nature Connection and help share nature’s capacity to heal, teach and create joy.
Volunteers join us for just 2 hours a month, on the 2nd Thursday of each month, from 10:30 - 12:30 at Cambridge Health Alliance, Elder Service Plan. This is a great opportunity for those with a strong appreciation for nature and animals, and would like to share it with others.
Volunteers are fully trained (volunteer training and program observation are required - in Concord, MA) and supported by Nature Connection staff. Must pass CORI check. Learn more, or sign up for an upcoming volunteer training on our website: www.nature-connection.org/volunteering/. Email Taylor at: teagan@nature-conneciton.org with questions.
