Menu Reader
A Menu Reader works with Hallowell Hall residents in the Hallowell Garden Dining Room during breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Menu readers read meal options to Residents for the next day. This allows Residents to make their own meal decisions and socialize with others.
Reports to: Sara Moore, Volunteer Coordinator
Time Commitment: At least 1 hour per week

Description
The Stony Run Friends Meeting founded Broadmead in 1979 as a way to serve the needs of older persons. Broadmead is a Life Plan Community. A Life Plan Community, provides a variety of services, activities, and amenities to residents. Additionally, Broadmead offers multi levels of care across a single campus. As a resident grows older, they will be able to receive the level of care and support that they need within the same community. Broadmead is home to approximately 500 residents and offers independent living (Garden Homes and Hillside Homes), assisted living (Taylor Hall), memory care assisted living (Darlington)and skilled nursing (Hallowell Hall) on its beautiful 94 acre campus.
