Do you have a knack for knitting? Do you get crafty with crochet hooks? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you!
The Milwaukee Public Library MLK Branch (310 W. Locust St) is looking for a new Fabric Arts Volunteer to help local children and young teens discover their creativity through the wonderful world of fabric arts.
This volunteer position works independently to develop short, beginner level fabric arts projects (including knitting, crocheting, and more) and teaches them to local youth in a relaxed setting on a weekly basis (approximately 2-3 hours per week). Scheduled hours are flexible and can be tailored to what works best with your schedule.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Ages 18 and up
- Enjoys working with children
- Ability to help keep children engaged
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience with knitting, crocheting, or a related fabric arts
- Past teaching experience preferred by not required
