Every year the Central Florida Continuum of Care (CoC FL-507) conducts a Point-in-Time (PIT) Count of persons experiencing homelessness in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole Counties.


WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

  • It provides a snapshot of how many people are considered homeless.
  • It helps track the national progress towards ending homelessness.


HOW HAS IT HELPED?

The PIT Count assists with local system planning for programs and tailoring the support services offered to persons experiencing homelessness
