Getting outdoors and making a difference for your local neighborhood or natural area is a great way to celebrate the holiday season.

This year we're inviting you to join us in celebrating, making memories and benefiting local wildlife and communities through service. Events are led by local volunteer leaders and focus on improving our neighborhoods and natural areas with hands-on work including litter cleanup, invasive plant removal, planting native trees and shrubs and other restorative projects.

Volunteers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to get involved. Free Volunteer Action Training is also being offered this Saturday December 8th, in Portland at the East Portland Community Center from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. for future project leaders (lunch is included).
