Food Distribution

Thousands of Orange County residents face food insecurity daily. Our Mobile Pantry food distributions are designed to effectively and efficiently meet this need.

Give back to your community and participate in our volunteer-powered Mobile Pantry food distributions.

This opportunity is ideal for groups. (15-20)

Volunteer Groups will interact with the community by handing out food items (both perishable & nonperishable) from 6 to 8 pallets, light lifting is involved.

With your groups help our Mobile Pantries will serve 100-200 community members & their families.

Description

WHO WE ARE:
Friendly Center has been helping less-fortunate children and their families move toward self-sufficiency for 95 years. This is done through over 20 programs and services. We provide life-changing assistance to more than 1,000 families each year.

WHAT WE DO:
We help the entire family with programs in education, food support, and mental health services. Our goal is to meet the needs a family may face, get them back on their feet, and prevent the cycle from continuing to the next generation.

Join us. Together, we can end the cycle of generational poverty for families and future generations in Orange County.
