Make a difference for salmon! Join us for a Day of Service on MLK Day 2019! Plant native trees, remove invasive plants such as knotweed, ivy & blackberry near the Skykomish River at Al Borlin Park in Monroe, WA. Youth ages 14 & up are requested, or ages 6 & up with parent/guardian supervision.

All tools, gloves, snacks and water are provided.

RSVP requested, email: lisa@soundsalmonsolutions.org or call (425) 252-6686.

Mission Statement

Connecting you with our watersheds for the future of salmon in the Stillaguamish, Snohomish and Island County watersheds.

Description

In 1990 the Washington State Legislature chartered nonprofit organizations called Regional Fisheries Enhancement Groups (RFEGs) to promote, support, and realize salmon recovery programs and projects in our watersheds. Sound Salmon Solutions (originally known as the Stilly Snohomish Fisheries Enhancement Task Force) is one of 14 RFEGs in the state. For 25 years we have supported salmon recovery in the Stillaguamish, Snohomish, and South Island County watersheds by connecting people to their watersheds through interactive education, hands-on stewardship and state-of-the-art habitat restoration.
