ORGANIZATION: GWINNETT COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY

Share your knowledge! Come to the library two hours a week and help K-5 students with their homework. You will provide support and guidance--not the answers--and empower students to complete their assignments independently. Retired teachers, lifelong learners, current students in high school or college are all welcome. For those in high school or in clubs requiring community service hours, this is the ideal volunteer opportunity! Volunteers are needed at the Collins Hill branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library Saturdays between 11am and 3pm and or Sundays between 12pm and 3pm. Orientation and training are provided. Commitment to a schedule, once set, is appreciated for consistency. Use what you know and make a positive difference in the life of a student!

Gwinnett County Public Library is a free provider of education and information. Located in Metro Atlanta, the Library has 15 branches that offer free access to computers and Wi-Fi, classes, materials, and programming for people of all ages.
