Fun in the Summertime at the Library! Our Collins Hill branch is seeking volunteers to assist the Children's Librarian with Storytime and other Activities this Summer!
Date and Time: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and or Thursdays from 10am to 12pm.
Duties: Set up room for storytime, assist with children’s crafts and activities, participate in storytime activities under the direction of the Children’s Librarian, and help with cleaning up afterward. Activities may include reading aloud, singing songs, and playing games with children.
The volunteer must be prepared and excited to work with very young children (babies, toddlers and preschool ages) and their caregivers. Previous experience working with young children is a plus! If you are interested in volunteering with us as we promote early literacy skills and have fun with stories, songs and games - please apply.
