We need your help prepping playhouse pieces for Playhouse builds!

Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley’s Playhouse Program provides children in the community with a place to call their own while supporting our mission to provide families with affordable housing solutions. Help our Playhouse Program by volunteering for a Playhouse Prep shift! During a typical prep day, volunteers have the opportunity to machine cut and base paint playhouse pieces from raw plywood and learn woodworking skills in the process.

For safety reasons, all volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Volunteers age 16 to 18 must bring a signed minor waiver form with them to the site. Minor waiver forms are available here: https://www.habitatebsv.org/hubfs/Volunteerism/2022%20Minor%20Volunteer%20Waiver.pdf

COVID-19 Update: Effective May 11, 2022, Habitat EBSV no longer requires in-person volunteers to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test. We ask unvaccinated volunteers to continue to wear a mask while working indoors or when they cannot socially distance, and all volunteers to continue to abide by state and local guidelines. Please stay home if you are sick and thank you for helping keep our community safe.
