We are seeking Volunteers over the age of 16 to visit our patients. Volunteers provide emotional support, socialization and companionship. Free Hospice Volunteer training is provided. . Sanctuary Hospice requires an application that I would provide along with a background check, physical check, and drug screening. After all of this is completed I will give them a training as to what is allowed and not allowed by law.

Volunteers can read to the patient, play board games, talk, hold their hand, pray with them, polish their nails, write a letter, do a craft project, assist with a meal. Just 2 hours a week can make the difference in a patient’s day.
