We know that everyone has a unique life story that’s worth sharing. My Life, My Stories is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to preserving the legacies of seniors in our community. We help record authors’ most important times in their lives for loved ones to enjoy for years to come.
We're expanding beyond San Francisco and are searching for a volunteer that can travel to Havre De Grace, MD to meet with a senior. The volunteer will be paired with one senior to meet with on a regular basis to record their stories. No equipment outside of a smartphone is needed: only an open mind and open ears.
Recordings captured at these sessions will be transcribed by MLMS staff to create hardcover memoirs for your senior.
The goal is to form a relationship with your senior so the hope is that you'll meet with the same person on a weekly/regular basis for approximately 2-3 months.
