At Community Living, we offer programs and services for people with developmental disabilities. Our Respite Care Home, located near Lindenwood University, provides parents and caregivers a break from the day-to-day routine of caring for their family member.
We need volunteers to serve as companions for individuals at Respite Care Home. Volunteers would provide one-on-one and small group socialization opportunities through activities such as reading to participants, playing games, and doing arts and crafts. We ask volunteers to commit to 1-3 hours one day a week or every other week. Hours are available between 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday-Sunday.
As a volunteer, your efforts positively impact the lives of the people who participate in the program. If interested, please contact Lauren Hall, the Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator, at 636-387-5501 or email lnhall@communitylivingmo.org
