We are seeking a volunteer to tutor students taking an economics course.
SEA is the only nonprofit in WA state that is working with non-traditional students (students who have dropped out of high school or did not go to college after high school), on their path to a college degree.
We have opportunities in multiple locations (South King County, North Seattle, the East Side, including virtual options.
Tutors meet with students at public places such as libraries or college campuses throughout King County. Tutors will schedule sessions with students, and there is a tremendous amount of flexibility. There is a high need for volunteers comfortable assisting with math and science, specifically algebra, calculus, and biology. SEA also needs volunteers comfortable with writing and editing.
All volunteers are asked to fill out a volunteer application form, and participate in an orientation interview.
This opportunity would be great for someone who wants to volunteer but does not have the availability to do so every day. This opportunity is very flexible.
We'll work with your schedule.
