Are you a visual artist living in or around New York City? Do you want your work to impact millions and inspire countless others in the years to come?

Sing for Hope, a non-profit arts organization, is currently accepting applications for its 2019 Pianos project. Every June, we place artist-designed pianos throughout the parks and public spaces of NYC's five boroughs for anyone and everyone to play. But none of this would be possible without the time and talent of our volunteer artists. After the Pianos are done in the public, they are moved to under-resourced schools, hospitals, veterans' centers, disabled persons' networks, and community-based organizations that Sing for Hope serves with our programming year-round.

Sing for Hope provides materials including primer, acrylic paint, varnish, and an assortment of brushes in our communal Piano Artist Studio in the Financial District.

The application deadline is December 9th. The painting period will take place between late January and late March.
