We are looking for motivated Search and Rescue volunteers to join our team in the Birmingham Metro Area!

Join us as a Bloodhound K9 Handler (we match you to a hound), EMT/MEDIC, Team Leader, SAR Technician, Rope Rescue Specialist, Recovery Technician, Incident Command post, and more.. No experience needed! Do you want to be an EMT? We can pay for that!

We operate in the State of Alabama and search for missing persons at the request of any public safety agency.

You will be on call 24/7/365 to respond to search and rescue missions, if you can come to a call then great, if not then that's okay. We have mandatory training every two weeks on Sunday afternoons.

Alabama Search and Rescue is a quasi-public state rescue squad. We operate bloodhound scent discrimination trailing teams and technical rescue teams to search for endangered missing persons in the State of Alabama at the request of any public safety agency.
