Looking for a rewarding Volunteer Position... look no further!
Come join the Encompass Hospice Volunteer TEAM!!
Be part of our special team of Encompass Hospice Volunteers. We care for patients in the place they call home- private residence, skilled nursing facility, assisted living facility, or other inpatient setting.
Just a couple of hours a week can make a lasting impact on the lives of others.
Volunteer Opportunities:
*Direct Patient Care- Sitting with patients, reading, working puzzles, watching tv/movies, life review
*Provide Caregiver Respite- Staying with patient as caregiver runs errands, takes time for themselves or goes to appointments
*Office- Assistance to include filing, assembling notebooks, copying, data entry, or other administrative help
*Bereavement- Assisting our Chaplain with mailings and administrative duties
