This event is for Participants ages 1-12 years old that will join in the fun with holiday games, arts and craft activities and story time with Santa Claus! Snacks will be served to participants and everyone will ride the Carousel at the end of the program!
Volunteer Duties: Volunteers will be needed to setup/breakdown event. Help run and supervise Christmas themed arts and crafts, games, and food experiments as well as serve snacks.
Volunteer Impact: Volunteers will be providing a fun and safe environment for children between the ages of 1 and 12 to celebrate the Holidays,
Work Environment: The event will be inside and will be working with small children. There is the possibility for loud noise and an active environment. There will be a restroom on site.
Volunteer Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer. All volunteers will be required to fill out a volunteer release form. Anyone under the 18, must have a parent or guardian sign this form as well. This opportunity can not count towards court-appointed/suggested community service hours.
Group Registration Information: Registration as a volunteer is first come, first served. A group leader must email mary.owens@raleighnc.gov to register. All groups will be required to provide a list of names and emails for their volunteers.
Per department policy, this volunteer opportunity is not to be used towards court-appointed/ suggested community service hours.
