Volunteer ASL Teacher
ORGANIZATION: Phoenix Alternatives, Inc.
Please visit the new page to apply.
PAI-Linden is seeking an ASL instructor to teach ASL to a group of adults with developmental disabilities. We would ideally like an instructor to commit to teach every Monday from 1-2pm for our afternoon groups session; however, we will remain flexible and work with your schedule of availability. Several of the people we serve at PAI-Linden rely on signs to communicate. We are hoping that by bringing in an ASL instructor, we can increase communication among our participants, and help individuals grow in their ASL knowledge and skills.
PAI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to engage individuals in meaningful participation and connection with the community. PAI operates four day program sites in the northeast metro that offer an array of services and opportunities, including art exploration, community outings, music and animal therapy, and much more!
