Literacy is the jump-off point from which all of life's successes take flight. - Lauri Fortino

An estimated 61,000 adults in Chula Vista do not have the literacy skills to be successful in their homes, their work and their community. The Chula Vista Public Library is looking for volunteers who want to help adults in their community improve their reading and writing skills. Volunteers will be teamed with an adult learner and meet twice a week for 1-1/2 hours each time for six months at one of the three Chula Vista branch libraries.
