Fairview Lakes Medical Center (FLMC) invites you to help make a difference in the lives of our patient and families by becoming a volunteer at FLMC.
We have immediate openings at the information desk near our emergency department. This role fills a critical need for the ER by helping families get connected to their loved ones being treated in our ER, escorting patients from urgent care to diagnostics when testing is needed, and providing front door wheelchair assistance and transportation as needed. Volunteers in this role must be comfortable being in an emergency room setting, must be able to push wheelchairs with patients in them, and must be able to sit, stand, and walk as needed by the department.
