Do you love natural areas and want to share your enthusiasm with others? Volunteers are needed to work alongside Natural Areas staff! Learn about all the different ways you can be involved, find your perfect fit, and sign up for upcoming training sessions. By becoming a volunteer with the with us, you are joining a long history of community commitment to conservation. Since its inception, the Natural Areas Department has engaged volunteers on every level, from education to stewardship to leadership. Volunteers help extend outreach and strengthen community involvement. We believe that volunteers are one of our most valuable resources. Thank you voters! City and County sales tax ballot measures fund the Natural Areas Department, including land conservation, trails, and educational programs. Natural Areas are naturally yours! You are welcome to explore and help care for these special places. There are 49 natural areas and over 36,000 conserved acres locally and regionally, so there is likely a natural area near you! fcgov.com/naturalareas
