The Goodwill of Orange County's Tierney Center for Veteran Services provides comprehensive resources to veterans and their families at no cost. We are hosting a holiday open house to provide holiday resources to veteran and military families in Orange County and to provide community among our service providers.
We are looking for volunteers to help set up and clean up the event, greet guests, assist in toy distribution and supervise craft stations.
This will be a great event and a fun opportunity to get involved in the community. If you are interested, please sign up.
We also are looking for donations to help make this event a success. Items we need are:
-Gingerbread kits
-Washable markers
-Candy canes
-Googly eyes with self-adhesive peel
-Pipe Cleaners
-Paper plates
-Napkins
-Disposable utensils (forks, knives, spoons)
-Beverages (soda, apple cider, lemonade)

Description
Orange County's Tierney Center for Veteran services helps veterans, military personnel, and their families to identify and address their barriers. Some of those include employment and career counseling, education services, housing assistance, health care and benefits, legal services, and financial counseling. The Tierney Center helps assist veterans, with their benefits through one-on- one help or referrals.
