Lets get out in the woods and find the "wild side" of nature! Join Friends of Hallinan Heights Woods as they lead us into this "wild" 3 acre natural area for habitat restoration. We will remove invasive species to allow the native species room to thrive. This will also benefit the native birds, pollinators, animals and the watershed.
The terrain is steep and may be difficult for young children. Please dress for the weather as we will be outdoors rain or shine to help Mother Nature!
Contact: Barbara Fisher 503-636-3153 or lanefisher@comcast.net
Parking: Go up Cornell St. and park on tiny Larch St. Carpooling recommended. We will meet up and walk together to the trail that leads into the woods.
Details: Gloves, tools and a light snack provided.
