Job Description

Graphic Designer

Job Overview: The Pet Adoption Center Support Specialist serves an important volunteer role in fulfilling our mission to save, protect and enhance the lives of animals in Bay County by supporting the office needs of our soon-to-open building.

Ideal for a anyone with the knowledge of web based design applications to create fliers, brochures and poster for on line and on paper

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • - Create fliers for events
  • - Create posters on animal related issues
  • - Create brochures for the Humane Society of Bay County

Reporting: The Graphic Design Specialist is a member of the Information Management Team and is functionally supervised by the Operations Committee Chair. All volunteers report to the Board of Directors.

Time Commitment: This position requires a 3-month commitment with an estimated 1 hour a day hour per week. There may be more time in the beginning

Qualifications: One year in a related professional position OR demonstrated experience required. Formal training (certificate or degree) preferred. Skills training will not be provided

Working Conditions: This position is located off site.

The Humane Society of Bay County is a volunteer organization. Monthly board meetings are open to the public and held on the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm at 1607 Marquette Ave.

The Humane Society of Bay County was formed in November 1984 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized a need within our community. Since that time, the organization has acted as an animal advocate in our community. Your support continues to be our inspiration as we look forward to a future of improved welfare for all animals.
