ORGANIZATION: The CareGivers

The CareGivers is happy to announce we are back up and running, but we need YOUR help!

The goal of The CareGivers is to help the elderly and disabled in the Greater Manchester and Nashua area to remain in their homes for as long as possible.

We are looking for volunteers to help us deliver birthday goodies to homebound seniors. Many of the seniors we serve don't have anyone to celebrate their birthdays with, and a friendly visit and some sweets can do a lot to bring hope and cheer to them on their big day. We provide the goodies!

Please consider joining our team of volunteers! With your help we can continue to serve one of New Hampshire's most vulnerable communities.

Description

The CareGivers, Inc. has a history of caring that has spanned 25 years. We are a small, private, grassroots non-profit organization.

We recruit, screen, train and coordinate volunteers to offer presence and assistance to those in need through transportation, companionship, community workshops, a mobile food pantry and service projects. Our programs and services, all free of charge, help vulnerable individuals remain independent in their homes and connected to their communities.
