Mustang Island State Park is looking for driven, dedicated volunteers, with a passion for science and education, to participate in a mobile teaching program. Volunteers will be given training and resources to visit schools and events where they will teach kids about scientific topics related to Mustang Island State Park. Volunteers will have access to a teaching trunk that includes items such as shells and bones that can be used as teaching tools. Scheduling is flexible.

Mustang Island State Park opened in 1979. The unique and fragile barrier island ecosystem is protected within the park’s borders. The park offers visitors outdoor recreation and programs on the nature and history of the area.
