Hospice by the Bay is in search of individuals who speak additional languages to English. As a multilingual Patient Care Volunteer for Hospice by the Bay you’ll be making a significant difference for someone facing end-of-life challenges. Your meaningful contributions will help support the hospice care team by:
- Relieving a patient caregiver
- Providing companionship/support to patients
- Life review with patients
- Participating in personal interests with patients
- Assisting patient/family with practical assistance in daily living
In addition to becoming a member of our transdisciplinary team, as a volunteer you will receive in depth training on how to prepare for working with patients and families. This training is beneficial for all, and would be beneficial for those seeking to pursue a career in the medical field.
Hospice by the Bay was founded by dedicated volunteers more than 40 years ago. We sincerely hope that you’ll consider joining our team!
